One of the most anticipated fights in years, was sure a thriller. Floyd ''Money'' Mayweather gave UK's own Ricky ''Hitman'' Hatton a chance at the welterweight title. Mayweather was dominating every aspect of the fight. He was faster, more skilled and far more accurate with his punches. Mayweather proved that he was pound for pound the best fighter out there. Hatton who was the crowd favorite took a beating and got beat in his own type of boxing. Hatton is more of the body fighter but meanwhile Mayweather dominated the body throughout the fight. In the 10th round Mayweather gave Hatton a quick hook sending him head first into the turn buckle and Knocking him out. With this win Mayweather keeps his title as welterweight champion.
